1.Do we stock the book Engineering Graphics and Design – J Engelbrecht ? ISBN: 978-0-9814234-0-1 as prescribed by Unisa

Answer: The book is no longer available in hard copy but is available in electronic format and can be purchased on the Snapplify platform  or on the ITSI platform. An alternative for this book is the Engineering Graphics and Design for Senior Secondary Phase ISBN: 978-0-9802521-4-9 also by
J Engelbrecht.

2.How will I receive my book/s?

Answer: Your order will be delivered via a courier service and the fee will depend on the quantity and destination - no parcels will be sent via the Post Office. Orders of more than 30 books are delivered free of charge.

3.Are we open to the public?

Answer: Yes, we are open to the public, our office hours are as follows: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 16:00. Friday 8:30 – 14:00. Saturday collections on appointment.

5.Payment options

Answer: EFT or Card payments are expected before any books will be dispatched. Our usual arrangement with our dedicated schools stands.

Answer: Damaged or incorrect orders should be reported to our office within 3 working days after receipt of order.

7.Can you make use of your own courier?

Answer: Yes you may use your own courier to collect, please ensure that the necessary arrangements have been made with our office.

8.How to use our books

Answer: At HSE we have Textbooks, Teacher guides, Workbooks and Answer books. The Textbooks are prescribed by Department of Education provide theoretical and practical knowledge on Engineering Graphic and Design.

The Workbook is laid out on A3 sheets. Each sheet contains its own question with sufficient space to draw the answer, as per Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) of the Department of Education. The Student Answer book gives the answers to the questions on an A4 page to assist the learner in drawing and interpreting the questions.

There is also an Answer book for teachers. The answers to the questions in the Workbooks are printed on A3 sheets and combined in a HSE A3 File. The course drawing’s answers are included in the A3 Answer Book for the teachers, as it is mainly used for moderation. .

Answer: There are a lot of options available if you take Engineering Graphics and Design as a subject, but it will primarily equip and assist you to become an: Engineer Architect Inventor Draughter Furniture, landscape or interior designer Work in the construction industry or EGD Teacher
